Erased properly.
Certified permanently.

Certified, irreversible data destruction for decommissioned servers, storage media and workstations before disposal, resale or recycling. All work is carried out by our verified, certified partners, mostly in their lab at their own location: bulk collections are arranged from your premises, and smaller batches are shipped to the partner’s address. Every asset is treated to international standards, verified at serial level, and closed out with a Certificate of Destruction.

Overwrite & purge

Multi-pass overwrite and block erase to NIST SP 800-88 Rev.1 Purge. The media stays intact and can be resold or redeployed.

KEY DESTROYED · DATA UNREADABLE
Cryptographic erase

For SED, NVMe and encrypted arrays we destroy the key itself. Instant, irreversible, and verified in seconds rather than hours.

Industrial shredding, degaussing and incineration for media that failed, is encryption-lost, or must never leave the building intact.

Certificate of Destruction

On completion, our partners close the batch with a signed certificate listing each serial, the method applied, the operator and the verification result.

Two routes to gone

Erase it, or destroy it

The same certified outcome, two techniques. Erasure keeps the asset alive for resale or redeployment; destruction removes the possibility of recovery entirely. Both end with the same document.

Certified erasure

Data gone, hardware still valuable

Logical destruction of the data while the media stays functional. The right choice when the asset still has a second life ahead of it, internally or on the resale market.

  • ✓Overwrite, block erase and cryptographic erase to NIST SP 800-88 Purge
  • ✓Media stays intact, resell, redeploy or donate with confidence
  • ✓Serial-level wipe log with hash evidence for every device
  • ✓Ideal for laptops, SSDs, HDDs and arrays with residual value

Physical destruction

Nothing left to recover

The media itself is reduced to particulate. For failed drives, lost encryption keys, classified data or anything that must never leave your premises in one piece.

  • ✓Industrial shredding, degaussing and controlled incineration
  • ✓Particle size down to 2 mm, batch-witnessed and video-logged
  • ✓For failed media, lost keys or data that must never leave intact
  • ✓Non-data assets too: racks, boards, cabling and enclosures

Standards & method

Erase to a standard, not to a feeling

“Deleted” means nothing. Our partners select the method per media type and threat model, whether overwrite, block erase, cryptographic erase or physical destruction, and execute it to NIST SP 800-88 Rev.1, IEEE 2883 and ISO/IEC 27040, with GDPR Article 17 obligations in mind. The method is chosen in writing before a single device is touched.

Verification

Verified, never assumed

A successful run is not proof. Every device is checked after treatment, from sampling for overwritten media, through full verification for cryptographic erase, to witnessed confirmation for destruction, and the evidence is bound to the serial number.

Chain of custody

Every asset accounted for

From collection to certificate, each device carries a record: serial, location, handler, method and timestamp. Sealed transport, signed handovers and a reconciled asset list mean nothing quietly disappears along the way.

Asset decommissioning

From rack to certificate, end to end

We don’t stop at wiping drives. Your assets are collected or shipped to our verified partners, who carry out the work in their lab, then route what’s left into resale, refurbishment or certified recycling, with the whole chain documented and reported back to you.

Turn a liability into a line item

Erased hardware has a market. Our partners handle the resale or refurbishment and offset the proceeds against your decommissioning cost, then report the tonnage diverted from landfill for your ESG disclosures.

Logistics & handling

Collected, or shipped, to a verified partner lab

All work is carried out exclusively by our verified and certified partners, and mostly in their lab at their own location. How your assets get there depends on volume.

01 / BULK

Bulk: arranged pickup

For larger volumes, servers, racks and full fleets, we arrange collection from your premises. Sealed transport, signed handover and a full chain of custody from your door to the partner’s lab.

02 / SMALL BULK

Small bulk: shipped in

For smaller batches, a handful of drives, a couple of laptops, a single server, you ship the assets to the partner’s address. We provide the shipping instructions and packaging guidance.

03 / IN-LAB

In-lab processing

Erase or destruction happens at the partner’s lab, under their controlled conditions and with their own verified operators. On completion you receive the wipe log and the Certificate of Destruction, and the assets move on to resale or certified recycling.

Every media type

If it stores data, we can end it

The categories below are examples to give you an idea of scope. Within each family the method is chosen per device, we never assume that one wipe fits an entire rack.

01 Magnetic media

HDD, tape & legacy

Spinning disks, LTO and legacy tape, plus the odd floppy that still turns up in a drawer. Magnetic media can be overwritten, degaussed or shredded.

03 Enterprise systems

Servers, arrays & racks

Whole systems, not just drives: rack servers, SAN and NAS arrays, virtual tape libraries, blades and the enclosures around them.

The business case

Why certification matters

Decommissioning is not an IT chore, it is a risk event. Handled properly it removes a liability and recovers value. Handled badly it becomes a headline, a fine and an uncomfortable conversation with a regulator.

Defensible

Proof beats promises

Under GDPR, NIS2, HIPAA and PCI DSS you must be able to show that personal data was disposed of securely. A signed, serial-level Certificate of Destruction is that proof, and it is the difference between a closed audit query and an open investigation.

  • ✓GDPR Article 17 erasure obligations evidenced, not asserted
  • ✓Aligned with NIS2, HIPAA, PCI DSS and ISO 27001 audit expectations
  • ✓Serial-level traceability from collection through to destruction
  • ✓Certificate retained and re-issuable for the statutory period
Evidence Serial-level
Residual risk Minimised
Recovers value

Cheaper than doing nothing

Storage in a warehouse, insurance on dead kit and the risk of an un-wiped drive leaving the building all cost money. Certified erasure usually pays for itself through resale proceeds and avoided liability.

  • ✓Resale or refurbishment proceeds offset the decommissioning cost
  • ✓No storage, insurance or security cost on dead hardware
  • ✓Certified recycling with tonnage reporting for ESG disclosures
  • ✓One predictable line item instead of an open-ended risk
Value recovered Where possible
Landfill Diverted

How it runs

From asset list to certificate

A short, witnessed, fully documented engagement. No gaps in the chain.

01

Inventory & custody

We list every asset, capture serial numbers and condition, seal the transport and record the handover. Nothing moves unaccounted for.

02

Method & scope

Per media type and threat model our partners agree the method in writing: overwrite, block erase, crypto-erase, degauss or shred, in-lab at their location.

03

Erase or destroy

The work is executed by our verified partners in their lab and witnessed. Every action is logged against the serial, with operator, timestamp, method and result.

04

Verify & certify

Post-treatment verification, hash evidence and a signed Certificate of Destruction, then resale, refurbishment or certified recycling.

Ready to decommission properly?

Send us your asset list: servers, drives, tape or the whole rack. We’ll come back with a method per device, a fixed price, and the certificate your partners will issue at the end.
