The Ultimate
Remote Workspace
We design ergonomic, aesthetically pleasing home offices equipped with enterprise-level connectivity, docking stations, and ultra-wide displays, if desired. Every element is chosen around how you actually work, brand agnostic and built to last. The setup connects directly into the wider private client services we run across your home: mesh Wi-Fi and fiber tuning, custom routers, personal cybersecurity, private cloud and NAS, smart home integration and long-term personal support. One desk, one room, one coherent stack.
Designed, built, and quietly supported
Most remote setups happen by accident: a laptop on a kitchen table, a monitor on a stack of books, a cable under the rug. We replace that with three deliberate stages, whether you are fitting out a single corner or a whole executive study.
We design the room around you.
Then we source it.
A proper home office is designed, not assembled. We measure your height, your reach, your preferred working posture, the light in the room and the way you actually sit through a long day. We then lay out the desk, displays, dock, seating and cabling around that, brand agnostic and with no incentive to push any one product. What you get is a plan, a shortlist and a written spec, before anything is ordered. The brief itself is a paid service: our time and expertise are not given away for free, and the consultation forms the first billable stage of every engagement.
- Measured layout, sized to you and the room
- Brand agnostic shortlist with reasoning
- Ultra-wide, dual or four-screen configurations
- Consultation and design are billed services
We deliver, install and cable it.
You plug in one thing.
Everything arrives on one day, gets unpacked, assembled and cabled behind the scenes. Displays are mounted, calibrated and tested. The dock is configured so that a single cable carries display, network, power, audio and USB between the desk and your laptop. Cables are measured, run, labelled and concealed. When we leave, the only thing you plug in is your laptop, and it just works. For clients outside our regular region, we have three delivery options: charter a private jet so the engineers and equipment travel together; ship the equipment directly to your address with your permission for local assembly; or dispatch our own local professionals who are part of our team, or vetted external local professionals where we do not operate directly. Charter, freight, accommodation and logistics are quoted as part of the scope.
- Single delivery, single installation day
- Desk, chair, displays and dock assembled on site
- Every cable measured, run, labelled and concealed
- Fly-in, direct delivery, or local professionals, all quoted
Everything documented.
Nothing left to guess.
When we hand over, you get a written record of every component, the serial numbers, the network layout, the Wi-Fi passwords, the calibration profiles and the support contacts. If something needs to change, we know exactly what is in the room without you having to explain it. Warranty claims are handled free of charge on your behalf, directly with the manufacturer. Ongoing aftercare beyond warranty, ongoing engineer time, adjustments and support visits are available and billed separately at professional rates. The same team that runs your wider private client services is the same team that answers when you call.
- Written handover with every serial number
- Network diagram, Wi-Fi passwords, calibration profiles
- Warranty claims handled free of charge on your behalf
- Ongoing aftercare available, billed separately at professional rates
The wider private client stack
A home office rarely stands alone. These are the eight services we install most often alongside one, chosen because they genuinely change how the room works, not because they pad a list. Each is a standalone engagement, scoped and quoted after the brief. Not sure which applies? The consultation will tell you honestly, even if the answer is none of them.
Private clients only · from €2,500 per service
Every Davidsons IT Agency private client service starts at a bare minimum of €2,500 per service, excluding the cost of materials, hardware, technology, licences and any additional services. This is the floor, not the ceiling: our services are expensive because real professionals cost real money, and skilled labour is not cheap. Final scope, effort and cost are quoted after the brief, and prices can and often do go higher than the stated minimum. The €2,500 figure is an indication of where engagement begins, not a fixed quote.
These engagements are built for high-net-worth households and clients for whom our fees are not a burden. If a €2,500 starting point per service is a consideration for you, this service is probably not the right fit, and we would rather tell you that upfront than waste your time or ours.
Consultations are not free. Our time, expertise and on-site presence are billed services, and the consultation is the first billable stage of every engagement. It is not a sales call or a courtesy visit. We charge for it because it produces a real written design, a shortlist and a spec, and because our professionals do not work for exposure.
We can travel in if need be. For clients outside our regular service region, there are three ways we make it happen: charter a private jet so our engineers and the equipment travel together and arrive ready to install; with your permission, ship the equipment and materials directly to your address for local assembly and setup; or dispatch our local professionals who are part of our own team, or vetted external local professionals in regions where we do not operate directly. Every option is delivered under our standards and our handover discipline. Charter costs, freight, insurance, accommodation and on-site logistics are quoted separately as part of the engagement scope. If your project justifies it, we will go wherever it needs to go.
On aftercare: only warranty handling is free of charge, we act on your behalf with the manufacturer at no cost to you. Ongoing aftercare, engineer visits, adjustments and support time beyond the initial install are available and billed separately at professional rates.
All services start at a bare minimum of €2,500 per service, excluding materials, technology and additional services. This is an indication, not a fixed price: professionals cost money, skilled labour is not cheap, and prices can go higher than stated once scope is agreed. Consultations are not free, they are a billed service. Only warranty handling is free; aftercare beyond the initial install is billed separately. We can travel in to install on-site by chartering a private jet, by delivering directly to your address with your permission, or by dispatching our local professionals (our own team or vetted external local professionals where we do not operate directly) for engagements that justify it. Davidsons IT Agency works exclusively with high-net-worth households and clients for whom our fees are not a burden. Not sure where to start? Book the consultation and we will tell you honestly which services actually apply to your setup, even if the answer is none of them.
Eight layers of a proper home office
Every layer is present in a well-designed setup, whether you notice it or not. Click any layer below to see what it actually does, why it is there, and which wider private client services it connects to.
What a finished setup looks like
Three typical configurations we install. Every setup is different, but these are the shapes they usually take. All of them include the same design, install, and aftercare discipline, and all of them tie into the same wider private client services.
A 49" curved ultra-wide with a single Thunderbolt dock
The cleanest possible executive setup: one curved 49-inch panel with a single Thunderbolt cable to the laptop, a sit-stand desk, an ergonomic chair and a beamforming conference bar on top of the display. Everything else is hidden behind the desk, in the concealed cable tray, and one cable is all the user has to plug in when they sit down. Network, power protection and any backup or NAS are handled by the wider private client stack, not by anything on the desk.
A 4K primary with a secondary vertical panel
For developers, traders and anyone who needs two streams of information side by side. The primary panel carries the main work, the secondary vertical panel carries chat, code, or reference material. Both calibrated, both mounted on arms, both fed from the same dock. All network traffic goes through the segmented work VLAN from the wider private client network.
Four panels, business network and rack UPS
A complete executive suite for someone whose work runs through the home every day. Four panels on gas-spring arms, a business-class router segmented into work and household VLANs, 4G failover, and a small rack UPS on a shelf that keeps the whole setup alive through short outages and shuts it down gracefully if they get long. The same rack also holds a NAS from our Private Cloud service.
From brief to handover in five disciplined stages
Every engagement follows the same path, whether it is a single desk and display or a four-panel executive suite with a dedicated network. We start with a brief, we produce a written design and spec, we source everything brand agnostically, we install in one day, we test on the platforms you actually use, and we leave you with a written handover. Warranty claims are handled free of charge; ongoing aftercare beyond warranty is available and billed separately at professional rates. Nothing is improvised, nothing is left to chance, and you know exactly what is in the room and why. The wider private client services slot in behind it: the network, the cybersecurity, the private cloud, the smart home and the digital legacy all run on the same stack.
From brief to handover, step by step
Five stages, one engineer, one point of contact. The brief and the design are measured, the install is one day, and the handover is written so nobody has to remember anything.
Brief & site visit
One conversation, usually on-site, to understand what you do all day, what tools you already use, what the room is like and what you want it to feel like when it is finished. We take photographs and measurements, and we ask the questions that matter: how many displays, whether a laptop is docked or travels, what platforms you actually run your meetings on. We also ask which of the wider private client services you already have in place, so the design fits the stack you already own. Nothing is ordered until the picture is complete. The brief and consultation are a paid service: our time, expertise and travel are billed, not given away. For clients outside our regular region, we can travel in to run the brief on-site by chartering a private jet so the team and equipment travel together, with your permission to have equipment delivered directly to your address, or by dispatching our own local professionals (or vetted external local professionals where we do not operate directly). Travel, charter, freight and logistics are quoted separately as part of the scope.

Design & specification
You receive a written design: a floor plan, a shortlist of every component with the reasoning, and the total cost. Brand agnostic. If we think a €300 monitor is the right fit rather than a €1,500 one, we will say so and explain why. If we think a €2,500 sit-stand desk is worth it over a €600 one, we will explain that too. The design also references the wider private client services: whether you need a NAS, a segmented network, a cybersecurity review or an integration with your smart home. You approve the design before anything is ordered. All services start at a bare minimum of €2,500 per service, excluding materials, hardware and additional services, and the final quoted price can and often does go higher than that floor once scope is agreed.

Sourcing & delivery
We order everything to arrive on a single agreed day. Where a product is on lead time, you will know before you commit. Where an alternative is available sooner and just as good, you will be offered it. We track every shipment, and we hold the receipts and serial numbers from the moment each item arrives, so that nothing is ever lost or mis-registered. If any of the wider services are being installed at the same time, we coordinate the timing so that everything lands on the same day.
- Single delivery day
- Tracked
- Serials logged
Install & test
One day on-site. Desk and chair assembled, displays mounted and calibrated, dock configured, cables run and concealed, network segmentation configured, UPS placed and tested. We test the setup live on the platforms you actually use, and we do not leave until it works exactly as it should. If you have a NAS, a mesh network or a smart home system in place from other private client services, we test the integration with those too. When we are done, the only cable you need to touch is the one to your laptop. For clients outside our regular region, we deliver install on-site in one of three ways: chartering a private jet so the engineers and the equipment travel together; shipping the equipment directly to your address (with your permission) for local assembly and setup; or dispatching our own local professionals who are part of our team, or vetted external local professionals in regions where we do not operate directly. Flights, charter, freight, accommodation and logistics are quoted as part of the engagement.

Handover & aftercare
You receive a written handover: every component, every serial number, the network layout, the Wi-Fi passwords, the calibration profiles and the support contacts. Warranty claims are handled free of charge on your behalf, directly with the manufacturer, so you never have to chase anything down. Ongoing aftercare beyond warranty, engineer time, adjustments, support visits, changes to the setup, is available and billed separately at professional rates. The same handover document also references any wider private client services you have in place, so you have a single record of everything we run for you, and one number to call when you need us.

- Warranty free
- Aftercare billed

Three typical configurations we install. The tiers are examples, not boxes: everything adapts to the room, the work and the budget. All tiers include the same design, install, test and aftercare discipline, and all of them tie into the same wider private client services.

On custom request: displays, docking and audio/video combinations shown above are examples. The exact configuration for your setup is the customer's choice, scoped on custom request after the brief, because it depends on the room, the work, the platforms you actually use and the budget. All engagements start at a bare minimum of €2,500 per service, excluding materials, technology and additional services, and prices can go higher. Consultations are a billed service. We can travel in to install on-site by chartering a private jet, with your permission to deliver directly to your address, or by dispatching our own local professionals (or vetted external local professionals where we do not operate directly) when the engagement justifies it.
Before you book a consultation
The things people usually ask us before the first conversation.
I already have a desk and a monitor. Is this overkill for me?
Not at all. The point is not to replace what works. If your desk is fine, we leave it. If your monitor is fine, we leave it. What we add is the parts that are missing: a proper dock so you stop unplugging six cables, a network that does not drop on calls, a camera that does not make you look like a security camera, a UPS so an outage does not lose your work, and a chair that does not slowly destroy your back. Often the smallest change has the biggest effect.
How is this different from the Home Network, Security & Smart Living service?
They overlap deliberately. Home Network, Security & Smart Living is the wider service we run across the whole property: mesh Wi-Fi, fiber tuning, custom routers, physical security, smart home and home cinema. Executive Home Office Setup is the specialised version of that network and environment, tuned for a single room where work actually happens. If you book the home office setup, you often end up wanting the wider network service as well, because the same segmented router, mesh and failover that keeps your calls stable also runs the smart home and the cameras. We will tell you honestly whether you need both, one, or neither.
Will the setup work with the Personal Cybersecurity service?
Yes, and they are designed to work together. Personal Cybersecurity covers your identity vault, hardware keys, encrypted comms and network-level defence. The home office inherits that same discipline: the work VLAN is segmented from the household VLAN, corporate VPN is supported, and the credentials that run the network are stored in the same vault that protects the rest of your digital life. If you already have the cybersecurity service, the office slots into it. If you do not, the office is a good moment to start.
Can you integrate a NAS or private cloud into the office?
Yes, and it is one of the most common additions. Our Private Cloud & Secure Data Storage service builds either a local NAS on your own hardware, or a cloud-based NAS for worldwide availability. In the office, the NAS usually lives in the same rack as the UPS, connected to the same segmented network, and backed up alongside everything else. Work files stay vaulted on your own hardware, accessible only by you, and protected against power loss by the same UPS that keeps the workstation alive.
Do I need the smart home service to have intelligent lighting in the office?
No, but it helps. The office can be built with independent layered lighting that works on its own. If you already have the Smart Home & Home Cinema Integration service, the office lighting joins the same scenes, the same automation and the same control system as the rest of the house, so you can switch from "work" to "cinema" or "off" with one tap. It is usually easier to add the office to an existing smart home system than to bolt a separate one on afterwards.
How long does a typical setup take?
From brief to handover, most setups take between two and six weeks. The design phase is one to two weeks, the sourcing phase depends on lead times, and the installation itself is a single day. If something is on extended lead time, you will know before you commit, and we will offer alternatives that are available sooner if the timing matters. If we are also installing a wider service at the same time, we coordinate the timing so everything lands together.
Do I need a whole office, or can you do a corner of a room?
Both, and everything in between. The most common setup we install is a corner of a spare bedroom, roughly two metres of wall. The largest is a whole dedicated study with a four-panel configuration and a small rack. The design adapts to the space; the discipline is the same.
Will you work with equipment I already own?
Yes, and we prefer to. If your laptop is right for the job, we design around it. If your monitor is good enough, we keep it. We only replace things when there is a real reason: a dock that cannot carry the load, a network that is not reliable enough for calls, a monitor that is not the right size or calibration for the work. Anything you already own that does the job is one less thing to buy. The same applies to the wider services: if your existing router is good enough for the office, we will tell you so.
Is the network setup really necessary, or is that just a sales pitch?
It depends what you do. If your work is a few video calls a day, a good Wi-Fi router and a stable broadband line will usually be enough. If your work involves all-day calls, large file transfers, VPN into a corporate network, or anything where a five-minute outage is a real problem, then yes, a proper network with segmentation and failover genuinely changes the experience. We will tell you honestly which side of that line you are on.
Do you only work with premium brands?
No. We work across the whole market, from mid-range to flagship, brand agnostic. Sometimes the right answer is a €300 monitor and a good dock; sometimes it is a €1,500 panel. We do not have a house brand and we do not take affiliate money, so the recommendation is the recommendation. What matters is whether it fits the work, the room and the budget.
What happens if something goes wrong after install?
You call us. Warranty claims are handled free of charge on your behalf, directly with the manufacturer, and if an engineer is needed on-site for a warranty issue, that is covered. Because we hold every serial number and receipt from the moment of install, we can act on your behalf without you having to find anything. Ongoing aftercare beyond the warranty, adjustments, changes, additional engineer time, new components or new requirements, is available and billed separately at professional rates. The same number also covers any wider private client services you have with us, so you only have one point of contact.
Is the consultation free?
No. The consultation is not free, it is a billed service and the first billable stage of every engagement. Our time, expertise, travel and on-site presence all cost money, and we do not give them away. What you get in return is a real conversation, a written design direction, a shortlist with reasoning and a spec, all of which you own. If a paid consultation is a problem for you, this service is probably not the right fit. We are honest about this because we do not want to waste your time or ours.
Do you travel, or can you fly in to install?
Yes. Our regular on-site region is the Netherlands and neighbouring areas, but we can travel in if need be. There are three ways we make this happen. First, we can charter a private jet so our engineers and the equipment travel together and arrive ready to install, the preferred option for high-value projects, complex installs and clients who value time and discretion. Second, with your permission, we can ship the equipment and materials directly to your address, so everything is delivered to you and we run the assembly and setup at your location. Third, we can dispatch our own local professionals who are part of our team, or vetted external local professionals in regions where we do not operate directly. Every option is delivered under our standards and our handover discipline. Charter costs, freight, insurance, accommodation, transfers and on-site logistics are quoted separately as part of the engagement scope. If your project justifies it, we will go wherever it needs to go.
Can you match the setup to a corporate laptop and its security policy?
Yes. We work with whatever the corporate IT department requires: specific docks, specific VPN clients, specific security policies on the laptop. If your company needs to approve the dock or the network configuration, we will provide the documentation they need. If there is a constraint we cannot work around, we will tell you before we commit, not after.
Do you install outside the Netherlands?
Our on-site installation is focused on the Netherlands and neighbouring regions, but we can travel in when the engagement justifies it. For remote engagements elsewhere, we can do the design and specification fully remotely, ship everything to you or your installer of choice, or dispatch our own local professionals (or vetted external local professionals where we do not operate directly). The written handover and the free warranty handling work exactly the same way regardless of where the setup lives; aftercare beyond warranty is available and billed separately at professional rates. The wider private client services are usually only deployed on-site within our region, but the office setup can go further afield.
Can you also set up a home studio for recording or streaming?
Yes. The audio and video layer covers conference setups, but the same discipline applies to podcast and streaming studios: a proper microphone on a boom arm, an acoustic panel behind the mic position, lighting that flatters on camera, and the computing and network to support live streaming without dropping frames. If you record or stream for a living, tell us at the brief stage and the design will reflect it.
Can I bundle the office with other private client services?
Yes, and it is often the most efficient way to do it. If you are already considering the home network service, the private cloud, the cybersecurity review or the smart home integration, we can scope them together and install them on the same day. You get one design, one handover, one support line and one set of serial numbers for the whole stack. If you are not sure which combination makes sense, the brief is the right moment to work it out. The recommended services above are the ones we most often bundle in, and the consultation will tell you which genuinely apply to your situation.
What are your minimum fees, and who do you work with?
Every private client service starts at a bare minimum of €2,500 per service, excluding the cost of materials, hardware, technology, licences and any additional services. That is the floor, not the ceiling: our services are expensive because real professionals cost real money, and skilled labour is not cheap. Final scope, effort and cost are quoted after the brief, and prices can and often do go higher than the stated minimum. The €2,500 figure is an indication of where engagement begins, not a fixed quote. Davidsons IT Agency is built for high-net-worth households and clients for whom our fees are not a burden. We are upfront about this because we would rather not waste your time or ours: if a €2,500 starting point per service is a consideration for you, this service is likely not the right fit. On consultation: the brief is a billed service, not a free call. On aftercare: only warranty handling is free of charge. Ongoing aftercare, engineer visits, adjustments and support time beyond the initial install are available and billed separately at professional rates. We can travel in to install on-site when the engagement justifies it by chartering a private jet, by delivering directly to your address with your permission, or by dispatching our own local professionals (or vetted external local professionals where we do not operate directly), with travel and logistics quoted as part of the scope. The consultation is still the right first step, and we will tell you honestly whether we are the right partner for what you need.
Let's design your home office properly
One brief, one design, one install day, one written handover. The consultation is a billed service; warranty claims are handled free of charge; ongoing aftercare is available and billed separately at professional rates. For clients outside our regular region, we can travel in to install on-site by chartering a private jet, by delivering directly to your address with your permission, or by dispatching our own local professionals (or vetted external local professionals where we do not operate directly). Whether you work from a corner of a spare room or a whole executive suite, Davidsons IT Agency handles the ergonomics, the displays, the single-cable docking, the enterprise-grade network, the power protection and the ambience, end to end, and connects the whole room to the same private client services that run the rest of your home.
